Sourcing native Scottish honey bees

Many members are seeking to buy native bees and been frustrated by the lack of stocks and information about breeders. So let us explain the current situation, to avoid disappointment, and outline SNHBS’s plans to increase Amm availability for the future.

SAMMBA Fund – open for applications

SNHBS now has a fund to provide financial support for members’ breeding groups and some other activities.

The money came from the winding-up of Arnamurchan’s Amm project and the Sunart, Ardnamurchan, Moidart & Morvern Beekeepers Association.  Hence, we call it The SAMMBA Fund. Continue reading “SAMMBA Fund – open for applications” →
