Membership

SNHBS members receive a newsletter and priority booking to SNHBS courses and events.

We aim to help our members obtain and rear Scottish native honey bees.

Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December.  Late applicants from 1 October will be rolled over to the following year.

The membership fees are:

Adult: £20.00; Adult and partner: £30.00; Children of 16 and under: £5.00 per child

Membership payments can be made by:

  • Direct Debit: Available using the following links Adult, Adult and partner or Children.  Direct debits are collected on 15 January of each year.  For those joining after the 15th of January, please continue to set up a direct debit, but select another payment option for your first payment.
  • PayPal (via debit or credit card), using the payment buttons.
  • Direct Transfer to the SNHBS Bank Account (please put the member’s full name in the Payment Reference) Account name: SNHBS Sort Code:  08 92 99 Account number:  65821075
  • By cheque:  Should you not have access to any of the above payment methods, you can pay by cheque, made payable to SNHBS and posted to Sarah Leahy, Tigh Geal, Tarland, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, AB34 4XA.  (Presentation of cheques may take up to a month.)
